What is HYROX?
HYROX is a one-day fitness competition that combines functional fitness exercises with endurance racing. The event is designed to test both your strength and aerobic capacity, making it the ultimate test of fitness. Participants compete individually or in teams, completing a series of workouts and running segments, all within a designated course.
How Does HYROX Work?
The HYROX competition consists of eight different workout stations, each featuring a specific functional fitness exercise. Participants must complete a set number of reps at each station before moving on to the next. The exercises include classic functional movements like burpee broad jumps, sled pushes, kettlebell swings, and more.
In between each workout station, participants must complete a running segment, adding an endurance element to the competition. The total distance covered during the running segments varies depending on the event, but typically ranges from one to three kilometers.
